PRAYER GARDEN
The Cain’s Chapel Prayer Garden came into being because two of our youth pastors had a dream to turn the former backyard of the old Parsonage/Daycare building into a Prayer Garden. Unfortunately, by the time the chain link fencing was removed and the rubber mulch was moved to our new James Moore Playground, Austin and Adam had moved on to bigger and better things.
Lee Moore graciously took on the project of designing the Prayer Garden, and performed magnificently. With his guidance, the Prayer Garden Committee started meeting in November 2011. Engraved bricks were offered to the congregation as a fund raiser, and items throughout the garden were offered for sponsorship.
After many hours of sweat, uncertainty, volunteer labor, internet searching, shopping, and listening to ideas, the Prayer Garden was completed in May 2012.
The Prayer Garden is available to everyone and we pray that it will be a blessing to all who have an opportunity to visit.
