AVICE TIDWELL CLASS

Location: Room 2 – Family Life Center

Named for Avice Tidwell, a faithful and long-time member of Cain’s Chapel and school teacher for many years, the Avice Tidwell Class consists of married and singles of all ages.

Those who are interested in studying the New Testament will enjoy this class.  Studies are directly from the Bible, and all are encouraged to give their opinion through the lecture and discussion format.

Their study of the Bible employs Job 27:11 as their guide: “I will teach you about God’s power.  I will not conceal anything that concerns the Almighty”. They support the annual church Christmas Box and ongoing food pantry ministries.  They sponsor a camper twice a year to Sunshine Camp at Blue Lake, plus donations for school supplies at a class in Holtville Elementary. Occasional gatherings for cookouts and potlucks are a plus, and a party at Christmas.
